I'm Szymon, a Project Lead at HGZ Gebäudetechnik. The family atmosphere at HGZ makes me feel like I've found my place. In this blog post, I share an insight into my daily life and the varied tasks I handle as a project lead.

My Tasks

As a project lead at HGZ, my tasks are extremely varied. From planning the site workflow to scheduling, managing staff, ordering materials, and writing measurement records — there's always plenty to do. Despite the many tasks, I find the work hugely rewarding.

Responsibility and Trust

At HGZ, I quickly realized that a great deal of trust is placed in me. I was given many tasks and a lot of responsibility, and I have the freedom to shape a lot of things independently. The trust placed in me is a key part of my work.

A Typical Working Day

My day at HGZ starts by planning tasks, ordering materials, and organizing staff. I distribute assignments and let colleagues get to work, while I take care of other appointments like site meetings. When everything goes well, I give the team a compliment and already think about the tasks for the coming days.

Teamwork

I really value teamwork, because I enjoy getting people motivated. With a good attitude and energy, I make sure everyone pulls their weight. The saying "many hands make light work" rings true here, and when everyone is motivated, everything runs smoothly.

Challenges and Exciting Projects

The concert hall is one of the exciting projects I work on. It's a mammoth task to juggle everything, but it's manageable. I was also thrown in at the deep end at the Kant Center, but I took on the challenge and conquered it.

Why HGZ?

The reason I work at HGZ is my loyalty to the company. I was given a great deal of help and support, and people believed in me. HGZ is like family to me, and the sense of togetherness, future, and security are personally the most important aspects for me.

HGZ is more than just a workplace for me. It's a place where I can grow and where I feel part of a big family. The work as a project lead is challenging, but the support and trust I receive make every day a fulfilling experience.
