Your Day as an HVAC Project Manager

I'm Dustin, a Project Manager at HGZ Gebäudetechnik. I've been part of the team for almost a year now and appreciate the freedom and recognition I receive here. In this blog post, I share an insight into my daily life and the challenges I tackle as a project manager.

A Varied Start to the Day

No two days start the same for me. Sometimes I head straight to the job site to get an overview, while on other days I start in the office and treat myself to a coffee. This variety keeps my everyday life exciting and challenging.

Planning and Coordination

A large part of my work consists of planning and coordinating job sites. I review daily construction reports, resolve issues, and organize orders. Regular meetings are crucial for discussing problems and ensuring employee satisfaction.

Our Project Management Tools

I use various programmes to carry out my tasks efficiently. Daylite serves as my calendar, while Label is used for calculations. FieldWire is the central tool with which my colleagues and I can digitally create tasks and make changes that are immediately implemented by the fitters.

My Perfect Break

For me, there's nothing better than a break on the job site with colleagues, chatting over a cup of coffee about personal and professional topics. These moments strengthen personal relationships and create a pleasant working atmosphere.
