I'm Thierry, a Project Technician at HGZ Gebäudetechnik, and I really enjoy working here. I feel comfortable at HGZ because I'm heard and problems are actively addressed. Whether it's missing staff or materials — people work to find solutions and tackle challenges.

Tasks and Drive

At the concert hall, my tasks as a technician are varied: from drainage and drinking water to heating — everything needed for maintenance and warmth. Keeping the job site clean is also part of it. What especially motivates me is the prospect of properly prepared welding work the next day.

My Favourite Tool

The folding ruler is my favourite tool, as I constantly need to measure to make sure everything fits. Whether it matches my expectations or aligns with the plans, the folding ruler is indispensable.

Exciting Projects

What I find particularly exciting at the concert hall is the heating centre, which we built up and previously demolished. The fire suppression system is also impressively large and unique.

Team Meetings

Our team meetings are important for discussing current issues on the job site. Here we decide whether a site can be briefly left unattended to help others. It's also nice to see everyone again.

The Perfect Break

My perfect break at HGZ starts with a coffee from the bakery, ideally with a filled roll or something sweet. That's how I enjoy my breaks.
