WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
As an HVAC Site Manager at HGZ, you are responsible for the comprehensive leadership, coordination and supervision of our construction projects. You bring both technical expertise and organisational skills to successfully steer projects and exceed our customers' expectations.
- Completed vocational training as an HVAC Systems Mechanic or comparable qualification
- At least 5–7 years of professional experience, including several years in a leadership role
- Class B driving licence required
- Excellent German language skills; English skills are an advantage
- Knowledge of currently recognised technical standards (including DIN standards, installation guidelines, regulations covering plumbing, heating, sound insulation, fire protection, occupational health and safety legislation, VOB, building codes, etc.)

- Organisational ability: You plan and coordinate site processes efficiently
- Decisiveness: You make well-founded decisions, even under pressure
- Conflict resolution skills: You can resolve conflicts within the team or with other project stakeholders constructively
- Empathy: You understand the needs and concerns of your team members and respond to them
- Negotiation skills: You are able to negotiate successfully with customers and suppliers
YOUR ROLE / YOUR DAY AT HGZ
In your role as HVAC Site Manager at HGZ, you work primarily on projects and construction sites, making a significant contribution to project success and quality of execution. You lead and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and support project technicians with installation and assembly work. You are responsible for creating and documenting project progress and performance records, and are in constant contact with the project manager.
- Leading and coordinating construction projects
- Planning and organising work preparation and workforce scheduling
- Active participation in installation and assembly work
- Documenting construction progress and preparing measurement records, variation orders and performance documentation
- Monitoring project progress and project success
- Communication with clients, planners and building owners
- Use of project management software for digital task processing
